Rugrat (2023): A 2000s Cinema Homage
Rugrat is a 12-minute thriller I wrote, directed, edited, and graded. An homage to early-2000s cinema, shot on $500 and favors, with a high-speed motorcycle chase and a cold blue-green grade.
A growth project for a TikTok creator (85.9K followers, 6M+ likes) whose Instagram sat at 1,469 followers. His comments showed Zack Snyder-style content drew the strongest response, so I styled and shot his Superman photoshoot in that look. Result: 603 likes on one post, 26.7K views, 39% engagement, 10x his average likes.
Kel Cosplay: Superman
A spec piece shot for AAPI Month, where I served as DP and colorist. It was an experiment in social media algorithm timing. Result: 23.2k views, 463 likes, 63 comments. #YourRootsYourStory!
